Blue Origin's huge New Glenn rocket launched into space for the third time ever Sunday morning (April 19) — but, in a first for the company, it soared into orbit powered by previously flown hardware.

Jeff Bezos’ space company Blue Origin experienced a significant setback over the weekend.

“The FAA is aware that Blue Origin New Glenn 3 experienced a mishap during the second-stage flight sequence following a successful launch,” according to an FAA statement released Sunday evening.
